LOVE the Earth structure

All workshops are based around this four-part structure, guided by the National Curriculum

Learn

An introduction to the theme and an engaging exercise to get people thinking about some facts and figures. Commonly a story is told to illustrate the theme through personal experience. It is generally a large group session.

Observe

An investigation into an aspect of the theme in more detail as part of a smaller group. Analysis, logic, constructive thinking and discussion are critical elements of 'Observe'.

inVolve

Encouraging community and collaboration, this is an exploratory activity to involve others in the wider network and work together to share knowledge and experience.

Enjoy

A creativity task is essential to enable expression of unique learning methods and behaviours. We close the session with a celebration of the work that has been done to strengthen the theme and praise positivity and proactivity.

How is a workshop structured?

Planet Action Workshops are run as half day sessions for approx. 100 pupils.

There is usually a large group celebration of the theme followed by smaller group breakout sessions.

We have a positive, professional and proactive approach.
